Some bits about photography

A little bit of history

I started my "SLR carreer" with an "Exakta Varex" (made in Germany in 1952). Later I have changed to an Olympus OM-2.

After a creative break of some ten years, due to my job, I got back to "business" again.

Today, however, I work exclusively digital! I moved the whole chemical processing that used to happen in the darkroom onto my PC. That works faster, nicer, better and above all more environment friendly.

My first "Digital" was an Olympus CAMEDIA C-800L (that started in April 1997). The 850.000 real pixels were great fun. This camera not just made a lot of fun it also made a lot of friends!

Today I own two of a higher class:

Above water I use an Olympus CAMEDIA C-2500L. This is a SLR camera with 2.5 Mio. pixels (1712 x 1386 max. picture size). Simply excellent!

Under water an Olympus CAMEDIA C-920 ZOOM with a suitable underwaterhousing is playing the game.
